Central Alabama Wood

Central Alabama Wood Products was built in 2001 in partnership between IndusTREE Timber and Bass Lumber. It along with the other two hardwood mills are still under the same ownership today. The 65 acre site is located in the Nixburg community of Coosa County, AL. The site houses two separate operations that include a scragg and grade lumber mill. The scragg mill produces crossties, cants, pallet stock while the grade mill produces bridge timbers, switchties, and grade flooring lumber.
