Mill Manager, Central Alabama Wood Products

Served in the United States Navy studying digital electronics and sonar systems. As a Sonar technician, Mark was responsible for maintenance and operation of the towed array sonar system and sonar buoys. After leaving the Navy, Mark went to work for Flowers Bakery in the engineering department, as a maintenance technician. He was then recruited by Magna International to help build and maintain a large paint line facility for Mercedes and BMW. This facility manufactured all exterior plastics and painted them as well for several different automotive manufacturers. While at Magna, Mark was promoted to supervisor in the maintenance department. He continued his career in the automotive industry working for Honda manufacturing at several facilities as supervisor in maintenance department. Mark entered the lumber industry with Georgia Pacific as a maintenance planner and was promoted to maintenance supervisor over the sawmill. Mark continued in the role of electrical superintendent and interim maintenance manager. He joined CAWP as maintenance manager and was promoted to Mill Manager.
